Tortang Talong

Eggplant Omelet
Just like the Filipinos, they experienced many trials before achieving the prize
(grilled, peeled and strucked but after all of these, it will be mixed with egg that will relieve the pain which will turn into a delicious dish.)

It’s always you who decide whether to be happy or sad, to be angry or not, to be somebody or no one.
– Roi Marru L. PabloSuntokGinto: Youth, Let us help!
Hey, it’s me again, Roi. This time, I would like to share something on sports.
For a period of time, I became an athlete and experienced the feeling of fighting for your school, hometown and region. I felt the burning sensation and will to win for the shining Gold medal. Your training would truly be your foundation and equipment in fighting for glory. It all depends not only on your will but on your training, experience and coach as well as your team mates though I only joined a sports wherein you fight on your own just like boxing which is taekwondo.
Somehow, I’m encouraging everyone to join sports because of many reasons (It’s fun and exciting; It develops your physique and mental capabilities; It would also help you achieve your wanted weight and body tone while enjoying the rewards you would get from sports; Lastly, it helps you meet new friends :] It’s super a-Okay!)
Now you would ask me, “What is Suntok Ginto Roi?” or “San ba tungkol yan?”
The Suntok Ginto movement is a support propaganda for our Amateur boxers to help them financially so that they may be able to train with a world class trainer in a world class facility with world class equipments. Truly, our boxers doesn’t lack in determination, passion and perseverance, rather, they lack in trainings and experiences. Another thing is that this Suntok Ginto movement is for the preparation of our Filipino boxers for the upcoming Olympic that would be on 2012.

Instead of wasting your time and money on things that wouldn’t mean anything in return, it would be better if you at least donate P1.00 for the Suntok Ginto movement where its drop boxes could be found in SM Malls and PLDT business centers nationwide.
Another question that you may think of is, “Why do we support our boxers, instead of our basketball players, equestrians and Taekwondo jins?”
The answer is simple, the Philippines is listed in the official Olympic report to be one of the countries that have the most number of medals without any gold. Currently, we hold 9 Olympic medals (2 silver, 7 bronze) wherein 5 of them came from Boxing, 2 from athletics and another 2 from swimming.

There is a BIG chance for us to gain at least a single gold if we would just be concerned enough to love our country by supporting her in the Olympics and this Suntok Ginto Movement is the best opportunity for now to support our athletes!
Remember this post, help our athletes, help our Nation.
When we win a Gold and you gave up at least any amount for this movement, You are part of that Gold, You are part of that victory! Hooray for you!

Again, this is Roi.
Posting for the Philippines! :DDDD
I’m an athlete, I’m part of the Youth and most of all, I’m Proud Filipino!
